Grader

The workers are finishing the "hangar" while Pam & Silas watch the grader make another pass. These things go for about $20K on eBay...tempting I admit, seeing earth-moving equipment in action is a lot of fun!
It's amazing how quickly he could clear off all the debris. We cleared about 5 acres. Everything "green" in this picture is the remainder of the property. In the upper left several truckloads of road base is barely visible. It was recommended we put that in so when it gets muddy heavy equipment can turn off the road onto the property with less difficulty.
When I asked the guys what they call this shelter in Creole, they said: "angar", which translates: hangar. It feels good to be able to check "hangar" off the to do list.
